SafeDAO approves the Safenet Sentinel and Validator sets, including the launch participant set. The named Sentinel and Validator set for launch is still to be confirmed.

Sentinel selection

SafeDAO approves which Sentinel operators are part of the active Sentinel set. The active Sentinel set is configured in the Safenet Oracle on Gnosis Chain. See Sentinels for the Sentinel role and participation requirements.

Validator selection

SafeDAO approves which Validators are part of the canonical Validator set. The Validator set is recorded in the staking contract on Ethereum Mainnet. After a Validator-set change is approved and executed onchain, Validators must also adopt the updated set in their local configuration. Safenet uses a two-week transition period for operational adoption, enforced through Validator rewards. See Validators for the Validator role and Rewards for participation requirements.

Adding or removing participants

Adding, replacing, or removing a Sentinel or Validator requires a SafeDAO proposal and approval. The named participant list, including applicable conflict disclosures, is published before the SafeDAO vote. Approval does not replace the technical onboarding required to operate as a Sentinel or Validator. See Governance for where each set technically lives and how changes are executed.

Current participant set

TODO: Update if the SafeDAO proposal for the launch participant set passes. Sentinels Six Sentinels are named in the proposed launch participant set, pending SafeDAO approval. TODO: Add Sentinel Oracle addresses once assigned. Validators The Validator set carries forward the 6 Validators from Safenet Beta. TODO: If approved, link to the corresponding SafeDAO proposal and the canonical onchain participant records.
